3D Words
Use play-doh or clay to sculpt your spelling words. If you do
not have any play-doh or clay, think about another way that
you can make your words 3D e.g. shape fabric into letters,
drinking straws... If you can, please take a photo of your
words and stick it in your homework book. If you are unable
to do this, just get an adult to sign your book to say that
the homework has been done!
This week's spellings for Wasps and Hornets are words ending in the suffix -ous.

Flip-Up
This game is played by two children (or an adult and a child) with a deck of
cards. Remove the jokers and face cards. Shuffle
the deck and deal the cards face down. Each player
flips over a card from his or her pile. You need to multiply the numbers on each card together, e.g. 3 x 4. The first
player to call out the correct answer gets to
collect the flipped over cards. If a player calls out
the wrong answer, the other player gets the cards.
Players continue until all the cards have been
flipped over. The winner is the player with the most
cards at the end.
