Hi Sapphires, here is the BSO 'Fairytale and Fantasy' song. I am working on adding the sound file onto here! Have fun singing! See you on Thursday! Hi all,
Your home learning this week is to complete a spelling activity of your choice, a Maths game, read 5 times at least and practise your tables and spellings daily. Here are your spellings: Hi Sapphires,
Here is your home learning for this week. Please complete a spelling activity of your choice, a Maths game and practise your spellings and tables daily. Well done to all of you who completed home learning projects; they look amazing! What a lot of effort has gone into these! Remember Mrs Challoner's spelling group - choose 5 spellings from each list to practise this week (so ten altogether). Have fun! Is there an activity you could out in the sun, such as drawing out your spellings by squeezing water from a bottle? If you do something like this, please provide photographic evidence, where possible. Mrs Blakeman Hi all,
Sorry I am not putting home learning on until now. You can choose your spelling activity again this week. Please ensure that spellings and tables are practised daily and that you read at least 5 times. You also need to complete a Maths game. Remember: your home learning project is due in next Monday. You have to complete this in addition to at least 6 pieces of weekly home learning to earn your treat at the end of the term! Dear Sapphires, Here is your home learning for this week. Please choose a spelling activity (there is a list from last week on here; if you scroll down, you will see it). You do not have to choose one of these, you could do a different one instead! Make sure that you read at least 5 times for at least 20 minutes; practise tables daily - remember you need to recall each calculation in 18 seconds! Test yourself at home to see if you can do this. If you cannot, then you do not know them well enough and MUST practise MORE! You must also complete a Maths game. Here are your spellings. The reason for Mrs Challoner's group have 2 sets of spellings is because you all need to be 'exposed' (be able to see) these spellings as you will have to be learning spellings like these - and harder ones - in Years 5 and 6. You need to choose 5 out of each set (so ten altogether) which you find the most difficult and learn these for the test on Monday.
Well done this afternoon, Sapphires! You were amazing and we made over £62.00 profit! This is fabulous! You have worked so hard and created a successful and profitable business! What a lot of talented entrepreneurs!
I will put some photos on here when 'Derek' (my laptop!) allows me to upload them! Have a good and restful weekend! Love from Mrs Blakeman Hi all,
I got so carried away with Enterprise Week that I forgot to put your spelling lists on here this week! So sorry! Here they are now. The reason Mrs Challoner's groups are the same as my groups are that everyone needs to have a go at the spellings from the relevant year group now. I do know that Mrs Challoner has been working on other spellings with her own group too (but I do not have a copy of them - sorry) so her group can also learn 5 of each set. To everyone from (or associated with) Wilton and Barford CE Primary School. Come to our Enterprise Fayre (Sapphire Class) on Friday 12th June. You can relax in our café whilst sipping a delicious coffee, tea or cold drink. Why not try on of our delicious brownies or perhaps an iced rich tea biscuit whilst browsing our pencil toppers? These pencil toppers will make writing and drawing even more fun! They are of the finest quality and everyone of them is individually hand made! What more could you ask for on a Friday afternoon? See you at 2pm. There is even going to be a surprise performance at around 2:45! You will be amazed! DON'T MISS OUT! Hi Sapphires,
For your spelling activity this week, you can choose which activity your would like to do. Below are some suggestions but you do not have to do any of these. You could choose one of your own! Hangman Pyramid Writing Countdown Connect the Dots Newsy Words Code Words Across and Down Make sure that you also paly a Maths game, practise your tables daily, read daily and practise your spellings daily. Remember in order for you to earn the reward of watching a film at the end of term, you need to have completed at least 6 week's worth of home learning AND completed the home learning project for Term 5 and Term 6. |
