We are still working on suffixes. This week, we are going to be looking at -sion and -ous ending. If the ending sounds like /ʒən/, it is spelt as –sion.
There are various rules for -ous endings which I will be teaching the children during the next couple of weeks.

Fold
a piece of paper three times lengthwise (making three long rectangular
columns). Write your words in the first column.
Then
write them again with the letters all mixed up
(scrambled) in the second
column. Fold over the first column
so that you can't see
it.
Put
your words aside. Come back later
to unscramble your
words.
Write the unscrambled words in the third column
